Sharni Knighton has been established to provide students with 24/7 access to education, mentorship, and master classes. Every in-person class also has an online counterpart on the educational platform, allowing students to revisit and study the material at any time.

What kind of education and mentoring programs do you offer?

Our hair loss education and mentoring programs aim to certify more stylists in mesh integration systems while fostering the development of solid, ethical businesses. You can choose to train online or in person, with courses available for both beginners and experienced stylists. We offer skill-building training as well as business support-based mentoring.

Do your education programs come with mentoring?

Yes, all my education programs and courses come with at least three months of mentoring.

Do I need a previous qualification in hairdressing to train With us?

No, but it helps. You also don't need to be a qualified hair extensionist. The comprehensive training provides all the tools you need to create a system. If you have no prior hairdressing experience or experience wearing a system, it may be beneficial to take our access course to build a foundation in hairdressing knowledge.

How can I access your private Instagram page with hair tips?

You can access my private Instagram page, full of tips to create perfect systems, by joining one of my programs or courses. For a lifetime, you can access the page for free. How do I get started with your programs and courses?

To get started, visit my website to explore the available programs and courses. Choose the one that best suits your needs, then click the buy button. You will need to create an account using your email and a password to access your training.

I’ve been there myself, becoming a version of me that didn’t feel authentic. But as a hair loss specialist, we need to retrain our thinking and step into this new role with pride and confidence.

Women who seek our services aren’t looking for a performance—they’re looking for a professional. Someone they can rely on. Someone who understands the why behind their needs and concerns. That’s why I chose the name Intelli for everything I create for both clients and stylists. I want stylists to feel proud of their intelligence, leadership, and role as educators.

Struggling with your hairlines, visible stitching, or wind lifting your integration system? Don’t worry—we’ve got the solutions to these common issues! Let’s ensure your hairline is flawless and secure.

Hairline moving backwards
Cause: Weight distribution might be the culprit, even if you’re using the IntelliHairline technique. Adding too much weight with wefts or other attachments at the crown or back can create pressure on the front hairline. Over time, this can lead to biohair damage or pull the entire system backwards.

✨Solution
Balance the weight of your system to avoid excessive strain on the front.
Regularly check and adjust the weight distribution to protect your client’s natural hair.

2️⃣ Promblem: Visible Stitching
Cause: There are three main reasons this could happen:

The thread colour doesn’t match the root colour of the system.
The stitch travels across the top of the closure hairline instead of staying underneath.
The thread type is too thick, making it noticeable.

✨Solution:
Use a thread that closely matches the roots of the system.
Ensure stitching stays underneath the closure hairline for a seamless look.
Opt for a fine, professional-grade thread for a clean finish.

3️⃣ Problem: Hairline Lifting in the Wind
Cause: If the hairline isn’t secured, it might indicate:
Breakage at the hairline.
The client has fast-growing hair and requires more frequent maintenance.
The system is anchored only at the sides, resembling a wig fitting instead of a proper integration.

✨Solution:
Connect the system securely along the hairline, not just the sides.
Schedule regular maintenance for clients with fast-growing hair.
Address breakage issues with tailored care for the client’s bio hair.

When you walk into your clinic, leave your ego behind. If your ego outweighs your need to care for others, you’re in the wrong job. Our industry is full of people pleasers—we thrive on making others feel amazing because it brings us joy, too. But when your ego gets too big, it leads to mistakes. Worse yet, it keeps you from admitting and fixing them.

Choosing to be a hair loss specialist means committing to work with clients who have often endured challenges you can’t imagine. These women need to feel comfortable opening up to you, suggesting tweaks, and collaborating to create the perfect solution. If your clients feel safe sharing their concerns early on, you’ll build lifelong relationships.

Clients understand that you’re human and that there’s a learning curve with each individual you work with. What they won’t tolerate is a stylist who can’t take feedback because of their ego. If you’re great at attracting new clients but struggle to retain them, it’s time to evaluate the dynamic you’re creating.

Remember, your client is your biggest fan. They’ll support you just as you support them. It’s a relationship built on fairness, respect, and trust.

So, the next time something isn’t working, leave your ego at the door and simply ask your client: What do you think?
